NSAIDs Drugs are commonly known as Anti Inflammatory Drugs or NSAIMs . These agents are Non Steroidal Anti Inflammatory Drugs , the known acronym is NSAIDs or NSAIMs. When these agents are taken into the body, produce anti inflammatory , analgesic , anti pyretic actions . Because of these actions NSAID Drugs plays vital role in reducing body pains and fever during and after the infection . Aspirin like drugs are used even in cardiac practise with this wide type of actions , these agents are playing key role in modern medicine .
NSAIDs Drugs are classified into 10 categories and widely used molecules are Paracetamol , Aspirin , Coxibs , Ibuprofin , Nimesulide , Diclofenac , Piroxicam and Mefenamic acid .
Because of safety and efficacy of these NSAID Drugs , these agents are not only used by the prescriptions but also like OTC products .
These agents may cause Liver damage , Kidney damage , Cardiac problems and acidity . Llike many other madicines, NSAIDs Drugs also have side efects, has to be used with doctors advice only .
