PROSTATE DRUGS

Prostate Drugs are used to treat the problems in the prostate gland in males .

These problems may be due to infection causing Prostatitis .

Most commonly used Prostate drugs are Quinalones such as Ciprofloxacin , Oflaxacin , Gatifloxacin , and Supha drugs such as Sulfamoxole , Sulfadiazine , Sulfamethoxazole with Trimethoprim combinations and Cufalospirins such as Cefadroxyl , Cefotaxime , Cefixime and Tetracyclines such as Doxycycline .

Other Prostate drugs used in the infections are Pipracillin , Penicillin - V , Azithromycin etc .

In Prostate Cancer , Surgery and Radiation methods are followed but few drugs such as Zoladex under the supervision of oncologist .
